The painting bears witness to great modernity in the framing of the model from a low angle and in the sculptural touch. From this naked body, twisted, emerges a lot of sensuality. A shades of colors, gray, white, blue and flesh brings softness and refinement.

This is the figurative period of the painter. Clément Serveau began in 1905 at the Salon des Indépendants then at the Salon d’Automne and the Tuileries. He has also exhibited in many foreign countries, in London, the United States, Canada, Sweden and the Balkans.

He made great decorations, frescoes, illustrated many books, engravings and banknotes.
