Biography
Born in Geneva in 1895, Alexandre Rochat studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse from 1908 to 1913 and at several private schools in Paris from 1924 to 1927.
He traveled extensively in France, Italy and Spain before settling in Geneva.
Alexandre Rochat has exhibited in numerous group shows at the Basel and Bern Fine Arts Museums and at several national exhibitions of Swiss painting, notably in 1962 in Schaffhausen, with 15 representative Swiss artists.
